Tamara is a forensic therapist with 8 years of experience working with adjudicated youth and adults who have engaged in sexual offending. She is a member of ATSA and her expertise in sexual offending treatment and analysis has afforded her the opportunity to speak at professional conferences and provide case consultation. Tamara approaches her work with a human first attitude, attempting to treat the whole person and reduce the risk of sexual offending. She believes that in order to combat sexual violence, understanding and treating those with problematic sexual behavior and sexual offending is key. In addition, she is interested in neuropsychology, which focuses on how the brain and the rest of the nervous system influence a person’s cognition, behavior, and psychological health.
