Rene Rivera has earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago

School of Professional Psychology – D.C. campus, an APA accredited

program. She has a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Arizona School of Professional Psychology – Argosy-Phoenix campus and a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from Arizona State University. Dr. Rivera has been working at PCS since 2016. She provides treatment and assessment to adults convicted of sexual offenses and individuals with sexual behavioral problems. In addition to being the Clinical Director at PCS, Dr. Rivera is also the Chaperone Coordinator, providing chaperone training to partners and family members of perpetrators of abuse and assisting families with the reunification process. Dr. Rivera is a member of the Arizona Psychological Association Disaster Response Network Committee and has training and experience in general psychological evaluations, risk assessment, psychosexual evaluations, crisis intervention, addiction treatment, and various therapeutic interventions. She has clinical experience in correctional, forensic, neurological, private, and community health sectors.
