Mrs. Rocio Murillo received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University in 2011 and earned her Master of Social Work from Aurora University in 2018. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over a decade of experience providing trauma-informed therapeutic services across correctional, outpatient, and community-based settings. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating the intersection of mental health and the legal system. She has extensive experience working with clients involved in court cases, offering structured, evidence-based treatment to address complex trauma, behavioral concerns, and emotional regulation. Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and culturally responsive care. As a bilingual provider (English/Spanish), she is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive space for clients of all backgrounds.
