Meet Dr. Rebecca Elliott, Psy.D.

Dr. Rebecca Elliott (she/her/hers) is currently a Postdoctoral Resident at PCS. Much of Dr. Elliott’s clinical interest and training has been with forensic populations. Her training experiences have included conducting forensic evaluations (e.g., psychological, psychosexual, risk, parenting capacity, fitness for duty, etc.) with both adults and juveniles. Dr. Elliott also has experience providing treatment to adults for trauma, substance use, mood disorders, and persistent and severe mental illness in a variety of clinical settings (i.e., Veterans Affairs, inpatient, private, college counseling, and community mental health). She also has training and experience providing mental health services for refugees and survivors of torture. She is committed to ethical and culturally sensitive practice, which requires ongoing training, self- awareness, and cultural humility. Regarding research interests, Dr. Elliott has published work in the areas of behavioral health including tobacco use and cardiovascular disease.
